I have written over ten books and I do book signings and I have traveled out of state on many ocassions, I have written two children books; Jay's Friend Kitty Brew and Jay's Friend Coloring Book and in the process of publishing another one in months to come.
1. Jay's Friend Kitty Brew is a book about friendship between a little boy named Jay, and his cat "Kitty Brew." This book is primarily for preschoolers, Kindergartners, first and second graders. I think that young readers will enjoy this book and see the transformation of friendship and happiness as it unfolds.
My Community: For over 33 years I've volunteered my time and services to the Prison Ministry Outreach Team of Grace Apostolic Church as a Chaplain and Council to the women inmates.
I was the Sunday Service Coordinator for each second Sunday religious Church Service for Marion County Jail #1, A group of Saints along with myself went into the Marion County Jail #1 and #2, Indiana Women's Prison, Pendlenton Prison, CIC Correctional Facility, Indiana Girl's School, and the Half Way Home for Women who were housed as they looked for a job in order to reenter society. Going behind Prison Walls to witness the goodness of the Lord has been one of my meaningful experience during those 33 year telling both men and women that life has more to offer than being dragged by the Devil chain of deceit and telling them that they must let go of the Devil's chain.
My Community: My community has helped me to better understand the need to volunteer and help others. However, I do answer questions regarding writing and gives advice on how to write that first book.

Read it to learn more about history from a personal perspective, "My perspective". Read it to learn how God can and will give you blessings in life if you just stay the course, have faith and believe, Read it to learn about the connection between family, life & religion. Read it to learn about how my family & I dealth with racism and how I persevered through it, Read it to learn about how the specific challenges of growing up as a young black woman living in the South,
